How can I get access to the parent portal?

What is the period of notice to request a change in the schedule?
You can make any change at least 24 hours before the original schedule. The changes will be reflected inmediatly.

Why I should use Expreso Escolar?

How many time wait for my kid to get out of the house or the school?
In the morning at home, we wait for 2 minutes for your kid to get in the bus. Consider that the time of arrival can be 5 minutes earlier or later from the established time. When leaving school we wait 12 minutes after the bell rings.

Why you change the time to pick up my kid at home?
It can change when new kids are added to the route or kids stop using the service. Also because of detours caused by reparations on the road. We will always notify you in advance of these changes, and keep our guarantee to take your kid from home to school and viceversa in less than an hour.

Why my kid is the first to get in the bus on the morning and the last to drop out when coming back from school?
We have a modern logistic system to program the routes, minimizing the distances and time of travel. Usually the further point from school will be the first stop from home to school and the last from school to home.

What happens if my kid has a bad behavior during the travel?
The driver reports it, and the parents must sign it. A copy of it is delivered to the school.

Is there a sanction for serious misconduct?
If the kid get 3 reports in the same semester, will be suspended from the service for 2 days.

Who I should notice when my kid isn't going to assit to school?
To your school coordinator. Could be by telephone or email with a day in advance.

Does every bus have a panic button?
Yes. It could be activated by the driver in case of any suuspicius or dangerous activity.

Are driver available to be contacted during the travel?
Yes, they have a mobile phone to be in contact with the school coordinators.

What if I can't contact the coordinator?
We have a contact call center to attend your needs and contact the coordinator.

What happens if the driver notices a suspicious activity?
He/she activates the panic button, notify the station and wit for instructions. The authorities are contacted if it's necessary.

Do you have an insurance in case of accident?
Yes. In case of an accident Expreso Escolar is the responsible to resolve any situation.

Can I get my kid in a different place on the route?
No, the driver is not allowed to stop at a different point from your home as a security measure.

Why we pay a full fee for months with vacation days?
The fees are based only for the days the kids are in classes.

Can I get a refund for the days I don't use the service?
No, there are no refunds.
